NEGLECTING TEACHING OF HOLY QURAN
CALICUT: The Calicut district Q.L.S. union stated that neglecting the warnings in the Holy Quran on Interest, Gambling, Drinking and the like vices is the main reason for the moral conflicts that the world is facing today. The progressing Human Rights violation should be dealt with counseling with the messages of the Holy Quran, said the union.
Indian Islahi Movement general secretary Dr.Hussain Madavoor inaugurated the union K.N.M. district vice president P.P.Kunnayin Haji presided over.DR.Hussain Madavoor gave awards to rank holders of the annual Q.L.S. exam and to ‘Haafids’ of the Islahi families.Those who served as Q.L.S. instructors for more than 10 years also received awards. E.V.Abbas sullami and Abdullatheef Karumbilakkal presented essays on various topics. C.Marakkarutty ,Faisal Nanmanda,Murshid Paalath and Abdurasak Maloram delivered speeches..
AAPPEAL SUBMITTED BY I.S.M. FOR ALCOHOL FREE MALAPPURAM DISTRICT
MALAPPURAM: The anti-liquor satyagraha taking place at the Malappuram collectorate premises covered 800 days.The Arekode area I.S.M. committee asked the district collector M.C.Mohandas and district president Zuhara Mampad to consider the obligations voiced by the satyagraha. The committee submitted an appeal towards the same. They also demanded the organization of policies through which Malappuram district could be made a model to other liquor banned districts. I.S.M. state secretary U.P.Yahya Khan submitted the application.District president Noorudheen Edavanna and Shakirbabu Kuniyil participated.

NANMANDA: The Eid meet organized by I.S.M. panchayat committee stated that religious debates and friendly active communications will help to strengthen relations among followers of different religions .Chelannur block panchayat president P.Aboobacker inaugurated the meet. MESSAGE EXPEDITION
MUVATTUPUZHA: The message expedition organized by Payipra panchayat committee as a part of the I.S.M. principle campaign, began from Cheruvatthur and ended at Perumattam. The message explanation was held at 15 centers .At the closing conference M.S.M. south zone secretary Mujeeb Azhari,Subair Swalih Alappey and M.S.M. district secretary V.A.Umer kutty delivered speeches.The expedition was headed by V.P.Mohammed ,Kabeer sullami,Makar Perumattam,Shaji, Azhar,Aslaf Narikkuni andBurashin Tripanachi.
